Can we be wide-eyed adventurers?

Can I get coffee with the doctor to hear about his life?

Can I text the governor to hear what movie he would recommend?

Can I call the director of great movies to hear what he thinks of L.A’s quality of life?

Can’t we be learners and askers of questions and be excited about not knowing exactly what to say?

What’s the worst that can happen?

I get laughed at?

Someone calls me stupid?

And yet how much better is the life of the asker of stupid questions…  the learner of great things than the one who uses the self check lane.

We could live without ever seeing another human being.

I don’t want to life that life.

A friend told me I don’t act my age… “my brother who is your age is dead inside”

Yes. How sad that most of my generation is.

I want to rekindle my generation.

We already know we are strong. We are a soulless, lifeless zombie army generation and no one can defeat us without blowing off our heads.

But one day we will find we are alive.

And then we can become wide-eyed adventurers. And then we can change the world.
